After our now seasonal opener in the FA Cup Preliminary Round away at Darlaston Town on 6th August. We start our league campaign are away at Wolvererhampton Casuals on Saturday 13th. Before we are at home the following Tuesday 16th August, when we host Studley FC

Our full time football programme is designed to enable students to combine weekly high-quality training with A level and/or BTEC courses and FA accredited coaching qualifications. We work in partnership with Ormiston Forge Academy to ensure students that excel in football have a pathway and opportunity to play for the 1st Team. The full-time comprises of the following:

Education

– Level 3 courses ONLY (B-Tec or A level)

– Level 1 FA Coaching or Refereeing

Football

– 3 training sessions per week – 2 at Forge (Monday 4.15pm – 6pm and Friday 1.15pm – 3pm)

– 1 training sessions per week with Tividale FC – 7-8pm

– 1 game per week in either AOC League (Wednesday afternoons) or Floodlit U18 Team – Evenings (7.30pm KO).

Pathway

The students who demonstrate the ability and commitment will be given the opportunity to play for the U18 Floodlit team. If a student demonstrates exceptional ability and commitment in the U18 Floodlit they will be given the opportunity to be invited to train with the 1st team. The 1st Team play in Step 5 – Midland Football League.

 

Jamie Oliver

Following the decision by Dave Green and his backroom staff to leave the club.

We are absolutely delighted to announce the appointment of Jamie Oliver as our Midland Floodlight Youth League sides Manager for the 2022-2023 season.

Jamie is well known to our First Team Manager Dave King as he played for him in his Stourbridge Youth side and progressed into Stourbridge’s first team and also at Sporting Khalsa.

He has always been interested in coaching and putting something back into grassroots football. He has gained his Level 1 coaching Badge and is working to his level 2. He has coached his Wordsley Wasp’s side from Under 8s throught to Under 16s and feels that he is ready to take the next step in youth football.
