Stuart How

Manager Dave King has confirmed the appointment of ex Tividale striker Stuart How as his assistant for the 2022-2023 season. Stuart had a very succesful career in which he scored regularly for the likes of Cradley Town, Bromsgrove Rovers, Stourbridge, Boldmere St Michael’s, Causeway United and Tividale.

He then went on to take his coaching badges and at present is an FA Level 2 Coach

His previous coaching experience was at Halesowen Town FC where he had two spell 2003-2010 & 2014-2022 with their Colts.

Dave has also brought into the Boot-Room an ex skipper and someone who just bleeds yellow and blue, Karl Gardner. Gards will also be on the coaching staff.

Dave has also confirmed that Goalkeeping Coach Wayne Shakespeare and Sport Therapist Gavin Blackwell will continue into the 2022-2023 season, the brilliant work they did last season.

Board members appointments.

Neil Male and the current commitee wastes no time and is pleased to announce new board members to join at Tividale FC.

Monica Shafaq has been involved with the charity sector for a number of years and has been the Chief Executive of the national health and wellbeing charity, The Kaleidoscope Plus Group since 2010. It is under her leadership that the charity rebranded from Sandwell Mind into The Kaleidoscope Plus Group and has obtained a place on the Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to Work For every year since 2015.

Throughout her career, Monica has held a number of non-executive roles and currently sits on the boards of Birmingham County Football Association, Citizen Housing, West Bromwich Albion Women’s’ Team and Kidderminster Harriers where she has lead responsibility for equality and mental health.  She is also a member of the Premier League’s Equality and Diversity Panel and in February 2021, was appointed as one of the first women, and first woman of colour to the Professional Footballers Association Charity. She has been included on the Top BAME 50 under 50 Entrepreneurs of 2020 list for supporting BAME communities and highly commended for concept and innovation.

Monica will be pivotal in developing our community, equality, and wellbeing strategy.

Richard Forsyth joins the board at the club, having been Director of Football at Kidderminster Harriers FC for the last three years. Forsyth has a pedigree of knowledge at a professional and non-league level, and he joins the club to develop the foundation, Academy, while building a partnership with a local Academy Trust to offer a Full Time Education Partnership and a true football pathway to the first team.

David Rogers joins the board in a financial and commercial role. Having worked for numerous years within the food and beverage sector, David also holds Non-Executive roles on the board at both GMS Group and Kaleidoscope Plus Group. David will be instrumental in overseeing and managing the financial sustainability of both the social club and football club.

Male commented, “The addition to the board of Monica, Richard and David is only going to strengthen the club. Culture, leadership starts from the top and works down and these three will really add value for us to achieve a sustainable community-based grass roots football and social club
