BLACK COUNTRY RADIO
There’s no better way to spend a Friday evening than to be tuned into the Friday Sports Show on Black Country Radio from 7pm. Great for local non-league football, often featuring Tividale representatives.
THE BEECHES
In February 2019, filmmakers Louis Allen and Harry Zundel spent a matchday at The Beeches, producing a film about the workings and goings-on of a typical non-league football club. The result is absolutely brilliant. We can’t praise the lads enough; they’ve beautifully captured the plight not just of Tividale FC, but of hundreds of non-league clubs up and down the nation. Please give it a watch.

FROM TIVIDALE TO WEMBLEY
A must for the bookshelves of any football fan Is Brian James’ excellent 1977 book Journey To Wembley. It is based around the much-trodden path of selecting a game in the extra-preliminary round of the FA Cup, and following the victors of each subsequent game all the way to the final.
Tividale was the scene for the early rounds of the author’s journey, and includes details of 1966 World Cup hat-trick hero Geoff Hurst’s appearance on the pitch at The Beeches.
