PSF – Worcester Raiders – Report & Match Highlights

Pre Season Friendly
Friday 21st August 2020
Worcester Raiders 1-1 Tividale

Tividale had the honour of being Worcester Raiders first ever opponents at their impressive new home The Sixways Stadium.

As with most friendlies now. There was no shortage of competitiveness throughout the game and early inthe game both teams had chances.

It was Zaq Hussain who put his name in the record books on 17 minutes, slotting home Raiders’ first ever goal at Sixways from 12 yards out following a mix up in the Tividale defence.

But Tividale levelled the game on 55 minutes when Curtis Cocking, curled his shot into the top right hand corner.

The rest of the game was nip and tuck as both teams looked for the winner but in the end it ended all square.

PSF – AFC Bridgnorth – Report & Match Highlights

Pre Season Friendly
Saturday 15th August 2020
AFC Bridgnorth 4-3 Tividale

Once again Tividale were involved in another entertaining game against very competitive opponents down in beautiful and sunny Bridgnorth.

Dave King was able to welcome back Jacob Barnes and Joe Burroughs for their first pre season games and give us some options in defence (most hit by our current unavailability).

In an open start to the game it was the visitors that took the lead in the 18th minute when Dan Smith was brought down and Luke Carter scored from the spot. The home side were level on 39 minutes when from a flowing mood Calynn Coney curled a beauty past young Peter Drake in goal.

Both sides then had chances but Bridgnorth went ahead when what looked like an Aaron Weston cross caught young Drake off his line and sailed over him and into the net.

Tividale pressed for an equaliser but wer caught out on the hour when a near post header from Andy Hartlebury made the score 3-1. Tividale had hardly recovered from going a further goal behind when they were 4-1 down, withj ex Tividale star Cameron Milne doing what he does best, curling home an effort from the edge of the box.

Tividale struck back immediately with Carter scoring his second from the spot and Jelson Antonio then buried a Brad Welding corner with 5 minutes to go and that is how the game finished
