Midland Football League

Premier Division
Saturday 9th October 2021
Worcester City 1-2 Tividale

It has been said a few times this season. If we stop mentioning any cup competition, we will be ok as we produce our worse displays in them.

It has also been proved many times with this squad of players that when the chips are down, and the odds are against them they come back out fighting and here at Worcester in front of over 500 supporters they pulled it out the bag again. It was not the most fluid and eye-catching performance but this one was never going to be.

Round One

Tividale 2-2 Warstones Wanderers

Warstones win 3-2 on penalties

We have had better nights

October is normally the busiest time of the season. That is because if your club is lucky enough to still be in the two national competitions you also have the flood of County FA’s and Charity games in midweek. Making it a Saturday/Tuesday month. So, when a manager tells a disgruntled player “He will get games”. This is the period he is talking about.

With our squad a little light on numbers, rotation for resting players is difficult. But manager Dave King left Luke Carter and Tom Hurdman out of the squad for this game, and he rested Hayden Reeves. Into the starting line-up came Dan Bryson, Ben Birch and Cameron Milne. This game also marked Elliott Hartley’s 100th appearance for Tividale.

One in, One Out

While we are delighted to announce the signing of young Eshan Greer. A lad who has Wolverhampton Wanderers, AFC Telford, Northwich and Stourbridge on his CV

We are sorry that one of our stalwartsTyree Clarke has decided to take a sabbatical from football.

This would have been Tyree’s 5th season with us and in that time he has played 77 games and scored 25 goals. We wish “T” all the best and hopefully he is back in a Tividale shirt soon.
