Maddy Box-Poole – NEVER FORGOTTEN

Today it is 4 years pain free for Tividale’s Princess Maddy Box-Poole. Her short life was blighted by the debilitating Batten Disease.
On Saturday before our Midland League game against Boldmere St Michaels we will be holding a minute’s applause.
The match programme will also include our tribute to a remarkeable young lady

Look Who’s Back.

Striker Adam Garmson has re joined us. In what he say’s is unfinished business at The Beeches.

Adam scored 4 goals in his 4 game first spell with us.

It is safe to say that Adam wanted to come back and we wanted him back and both parties are pleased with the result

Stour turn on the Power

On the back of a heavy defeat at the weekend. The hope was to possibly get something from our illustrious friends and neighbours who had begun their season not the way they would have liked.

But they parted company with their previous manager 5 days before tonight’s game. Brought in a caretaker manager and proceeded to win in the league for the second time this season and against a top 4 side 48 hours later. So, we were now up against a level 3 side with their tails up.

100 Up

Elliott Hartley                                         Dan Bryson

After our game against Stourbridge, another couple of Dave King’s squad will be presented with awards for the brilliant achievement of making 100 appearances for Tividale FC under the management of The Boss.

Elliott Hartley first signed for us in January 2017. He is one of the most versatile players in our squad. Having played at full back, wing back, winger centre midfield and forward. Apart from a season at Bilston in the 2019-2020 season he has been a regular in a spell of nearly 5 years.

Dan Bryson came to us in July 2017 and has been a true leader on and off the pitch. With him being employed as a full-time coach by West Bromwich Albion. He has been unavailable for many matches in his time with us. But when he is with us his experience is unmeasurable.

Both, we feel would have passed this landmark a while ago but for the disruption due to the pandemic. But we have the chance to recognise their achievement now.
