Tivi Kickers – Second Week

After the first weeks tremendous response and considering it was only supposed to be a registration day. To have over 20 kids was a brilliant turn out.

With the weather set to be great. We will be expecting a few more this week. So if you have not registered, you are advised to get here early

We have been absolutely inundated with parents that have kids that want to get onto that first step and experience the world’s greatest game.

So we bring you Tivi Kickers for 4 to 9 year olds. Why this age group you may ask? Well it’s because Tividale Football Club have teams from U9’s upwards and we would like to start a new U9’s for the 2022-2023 season and you never know depending on the response, we may start more sides.

The training will concentrate on simple ball control passing and shooting all by FA certified coaches under the watchful eye of our Child Welfare Officer

Shin Pads are mandatory and football boots are advised. As for footwear we know how expensive football boots can be. So we advise a strong pair of trainers and then if they enjoy it boots can be brought at your discretion

So why don’t you get them over on a Friday evening starting on the 4th March from 6 to 7pm costing £3.00 a session at Tividale Football Club.

Alport’s lead to Tivi win

Whitchurch Alport 2-3 Tividale

Alport’s lead to Tivi win

Sometimes in this game you will feel you are not at your most fluent but if you work hard you may still get something out of it. This was the perfect example. The home side possivbly had one eye on the following weekends FA Vase Quarter Final. The away side hoping to build on last weeks injury time equaliser.

The buzz at Whitchurch was all about the Quarter Final and could you blame them. To reach the last 8 of a national competition is no mean feat. But although we were absolutely delighted for them, there was a vital three points to play for here.
