Tividale FC – Restart

As you may already know Tividale FC have received confirmation from the Midland Football League and the FA that fans can now be allowed into grounds.

For this to happen we have had to provide a risk assesesment to ensure the safety of everyone entering The Beeches, details of this can be found here

The next stage to allow clubs to have fans back into grounds has been split into the following two stages:

Stage One:

  • From 22 August 2020 to 30 August 2020, spectators are permitted to attend fixtures at steps three to six of the NLS (Tividale play at Step 5), providing that their number does not exceed 15 per cent of the minimum ground grading capacity at these levels (150 paying spectators). This does not include players, coaching staff, officials, volunteers or user of the beer garden (that will be closed in the first half as normal on a match day)

  • If a club at these levels does not play any home fixtures during this period, it must have played at least one home pre-season or competitive fixture in accordance with its respective level of spectators before moving on to stage two.Our stage one fixture at this point will be against Long Eaton United on Saturday 5th September 2020

  • They must also be satisfied that they have been able to comply with the Government’s return to recreational team sport guide

Stage Two:

  • From 31 August 2020, clubs at steps three to six of the NLS and tiers three to four of the WFP will be permitted to allow spectators to attend fixtures provided that their number does not exceed 30 per cent of the minimum ground grading capacity (300 paying spectators). Our stage two fixture at this point will be against Stourport Swifts on Saturday 12th September 2020

  • Again this does not include players, coaching staff, officials or volunteers and again, they must be satisfied that they have been able to comply with the Government’s return to recreational team sport guide

As Tividale’s average attendance for the last 3 season’s has not exceeded 100. We feel that with the confirmed opposition over the next month, that at present we do not need to sell pre match tickets and we will carry on with a cash only system using our turnstile.

Our admission prices for the 2020-21 season is as follows

Adult £7

Concessions £4 (OAP, Under 18’s and Membership card holders) with U-12 free with a paying adult.

Children under the age of 12 are allowed into match days free with a paying adult.

There will also be free entry for the 2020-21 season for all NHS and Care workers showing an identity card

We will be producing a programmes at a cost of £2

At the turnstile you will have to use our QR scan for track and trace purposes. If you are unable to use it then the gateman will take your name and contact number.

Once fans are inside the ground, they will be required to follow our Club’s Covid-19 procedures and adhere to Government social distancing rules.

There are hand sanitization stations around the ground but we advise you to bring your own if possible.

We will not be cordoning off seat’s in the stand as we expect families will want to sit together in their own bubble.

Please respect our regulations and do not travel to The Beeches if you have COVID-19 symptoms.

We will be looking to provide limited hospitality from the refreshment window, before and during the game. All normal Social Club refreshments will be served inside and behind the bar.

Please could you put all your litter in the bins provided.

Early indications are that the FA may look again at the situation in October and the above procedures will be revisited when this happens.

Our aim is that all visitors enjoy their visit to Tividale Football and Social Club and as we have tried to do since the Social Club was re-opened. Create a safe and enjoyable environment for you all.

PSF – Stafford Town

Pre Season Friendly
Tuesday 11th August 2020
Stafford Town 2-3 Tividale

It was a much improved Tividale performance against Stafford Town in sweltering and uncomfortable conditions. With the return of the Carter brothers (Luke Carter pictured) and another couple of trialists, Manager Dave King had a few more options tonight.

Both sides hadearly chances but it was the visitors that opened the scoring with a trialist turning home a Dan Smith cross. Later the trialist returned the favour with Smith heading home his corner.

Stafford deserverdly were rewarded for their endeavour at the end of the half when Kyle Wainwright headed home.

With the normal mass substitutions in the second period again the it was nip and tuck and Connor Leek pulled Stafford level with a long range effort only for Ryan Grosvenor to put Tividale ahead again with a shot from similar distance. (Two goals where both keepers may feel they could have done better) and that is how it ended.

And once again we must thank Stafford Town for their hardwork in getting this game on in this strict Covid19 enviroment.

PSF – Dudley Town

Pre Season Friendly
Saturday 8th August 2020
Dudley Town 4-0 Tividale

Tividale’s second pre season saw them up against an experienced Dudley Town side. Manager Dave King had to play a high number of trialist due to unavailability and also had the Carter brothers missing from last Saturday.

But even with the changes the performace itself was not the best as Dudley took the game to the visitors and although they were only a goal ahead at half time it could have been more.

The second half again was Dudley’s as the visitors failed to really trouble their defence. Dan Smith (pictured) with a header there only realsight of goal.

Dudley added a second courtesy of a penalty half way through the second period and then quickly added another two, to round off a deserved and comprehensive win.

Once again we must thank Dudley Town for their hardwork in getting this game on in this strict Covid19 enviroment.
