Tividale chalked up only their second league win in 15 games and their first since Boxing Day in this win over a much improved Selston side.
This game should have been played back in November but due to FA Vase commitments and waterlogged pitches it was a full three months before we actually faced each other here at The Beeches.
At the moment Tividale must be feeling that they just cannot catch a break. Against an ever improving Worcester City side. Tividale gave as good as they got in a performance of pure grit and determination but just as it was a fortnight ago in the League Cup fixture two weeks ago. A Sean Brain goal was the difference between the sides.
Not many teams will go to The Moat Ground this season and dominate for as much as Tividale did in this game. Apart from a spell in the second half after Tividale gave away their now customary penalty. The home side were second best all over the park
